Trance Lab Podcast 3 – October 3, 2010

Anoraak - "Wherever The Sun Sets"

Trance Lab is back with a new episode of fine electronic music to fill your portable players. This time we’ve got new music from Mark O’Sullivan (of DK7 fame – remember this remix of “The Difference”?), also new music from Manuel Perez, Autechre, and two of our disco favorites: Monarchy and Anoraak.

Another long time favorite, Boom Boom Satellites, is out with a new best-of called Over and Over. The collection is a good overview of their decade-plus career, is the first US release in some time, and includes a US tour during October 2010. They’ll be at TT’s in Cambridge, MA on Tuesday October 19 for a very cheap, early show. $8!

We’re also happy to blast new remix music from Anoraak. He’s another big Trance Lab favorite, out with his new album Wherever the Sun Sets. It’s more neo-retro pop that makes us want to play Out Run at the beach in the summer of ’85.

For those near Portsmouth, NH, come by the Red Door to see Lord Bass on Sat October 16!
