Burial "bleak"? Cheer up LB! I would have called it maybe "relaxingly dim". It had a nice meditative flavor. The solid groove was there, but stripped down to essentials. And it was done justice with the melt into Autechre. Such a tasty set!

Yes I think Burial is bleak.. I love it, but I always think of his music as 'the last song someone would ever hear'. I do get your optimism about this one, but I don't hear it there. "Fostercare" is just so empty.
And glad you liked the Autechre. Those old Warp collections still sound great.
Thanks for playing that awesome Teenage Bad Girl track. I didn't realize that they had less thrashy sounding stuff.
Great stuff, eh? That's the first track I'd heard by them, the rest was a bit of surprise. If I wasn't FCC-bound I'd be rocking "USB Dick" on the show.
