Trance Lab Works The Red Door

The slow nights always turn out the best. Kinetic and I were ready for a nap at 830pm for last Saturday's Red Door appearance. We've been spinning monthly (or more) at the Portsmouth, NH martini lounge since it opened in late 2003. It's also the only hip spot in my home state of New Hampshire, as we're often saddled with frat-rock, crappy dance and full-size trucks.

But this last Saturday worked. One of our best nights in Red Door history. Everything clicked - weather was sublime, people in a good mood, music was right - perfect thanks to the help of Landau & Kinetic [seen happy, above], good friends showed, and friends from far away stopped by. More bodies danced in this dancefloor-less room than we've ever seen.

If you weren't there, here's a taste of what we played:

Booka Shade - Darko (Booka's Air Tube mix)
Sebo K & Metro - Transit
Todd Terje - Eurodans
Recloose - Cardiology (Isolee remix)
Moulinex - Down and Out

.. join us for the next party Saturday, July 28. [And you'll look like these guys, promise].
