'Speaking In Code' Film Benefit - 26 Aug 2006, Boston MA

Here's a teaser trailer for the upcoming 'Speaking In Code' benefit.. If you're in Boston, give this lot a shout. They're doing a techno god's work.

If you haven’t already heard, Boston based sQuare productions (comprised of David Day and Amy Grill) is throwing a big fundraising bash on August 26. They are looking to raise money to finish Speaking in Code, the feature length documentary that follows characters in underground electronic music -- Robot builders who love to dance, rambunctious bad boy producers who love their mothers, vodka guzzling east German DJs, techno evangelists (and more…).

Some hot clips and behind the scenes slideshows from the film in progress will be shown throughout the night culminating in a fully-edited10-minute sequence of charismatic BPitch Control duo Modeselektor who are about to play the gig of their career: the mega-rave at Sonar By Night in Barcelona, June 2006. It's amazing stuff.

Free drinks, free music, free food. $20 flat.

nice one. thanks a lot for this. if you do come down to the benefit (and we do need the money: tapes, edit suite, editors, loggers) don't forget the after party just a few block away starts at 11pm -- ??? $5 ... you need to RSVP to bleep@robotlovesongs.com before the list fills up.

Mention SiC in your RSVP for a discount and expect an email from that address confirming your spot on the RSVP list, location, and party details by Saturday morning of the benefit and party.

Cool?
