If the Barley Pub is too divey for your discriminating palate, walk down the street to Dover Soul, where DJ Lord Bass will be spinning records. This long-time WUNH DJ still runs the Trance Lab show on Monday nights and sometimes brings guests to his shows to spice things up.
While many nay-sayers consider trance passé, I say a Lord Bass set is the perfect music if you're trying to look sophisticated with an overpriced cosmopolitan in hand.
I don't play "trance" per-se, but I'll take the decent press. :)

Hey there. Sorry about that semi-dig. It was really spoofing the Dover Soul "scene" more so than you.
You can reach me at blamontagne@seacoastonline.com with all you upcoming shows or feel free to post them on any of my blog entries. I have been trying to encourage other bands/DJs to do so, but many of them are not so hot with the self-promotion.
Also, if you hear of any good out of town DJs playing locally, let me know. It try to get out and keep posted, but having to get up early for work in the morning kinda hampers that.
